YODEL delivered my Virgin delivery to the wrong address, despite Virgin telling them in was wrong

It’s not just the delivery drivers that get it wrong. The Yodel delivery office also gets it wrong.

On 20 Jul, a Virgin Mobile smartphone was invoiced correctly to my address, but Yodel used and delivered the package the next day, to a completely different address except for the name & postcode.

Fortunately, I was able to collect the package from the wrong address. Even Virgin told Yodel of the mistake before it was dispatched…

I wonder how many packages get lost this way.
