YODEL stole my DVD player

Yodel delivered two packages (I was expecting three in split deliveries and one of the parcels was supposed to be a dvd player).
I signed for it and took the two packages inside and started to open one before I realised that it had already been opened and resealed. The package was an empty box. The driver had stolen the contents and let me sign for an empty box.
Yodel did not want to know in the beginning. I reported the theft to the police. They eventually owned up and said he’d stolen the DVD player and had been sacked.
Do not use this company. Theft is their trademark and I am not the only person this has happened to.

YODEL blaming the weather for no-show delivery

the weather yes here in south wales we had a dumping over the last weekend, But then the sun came out on Monday and it melted so the roads are clear. but Yodel cant even get 15 miles from their Nantgarw Depot to deliver a package. when you try to contact them they just say its the weather like its my fault

eBuyer order never turned up

Ordered some computer equipment from ebuyer and paid extra for next day delivery (Monday).

It’s now Thursday and we’re still waiting with no definite sign of when it will be delivered. It was on the van yesterday but they “ran out of time”.

No explanation from them or ebuyer as to why it wasn’t delivered on Monday.

Groupon’s use of YODEL is shameful

Groupon have said they will call me with in a week to explain where my goods might be. Asked for refund, they said you can do that when you have received the goods ? bit of a circus ! Groupon are shameful and customer service disgraceful !!

Below is the review I left on trustpilot regarding movement experiences with yodel!

Absolutely despicable! Biggest liars in existence! Worst service I’ve ever received from a courier!

Ordered flowers for mothers day from eflorist, all was on track to start with but then at 11.30 tracking stated couldn’t find the house! Spent 2 hours between automated line of yodel and emailing florists whose lines were down. After finally managing to speak to a human at yodel they told me the driver couldn’t find the address as eflorist did not provide them with the house number – I was in tears explaining that this might be missing last mothers day with my mum so it was urgent the flowers arrived – I even pleaded that I would collect them from anywhere with any ID they want. The yodel worker said that wouldn’t be necessary and that he would contact the driver with the full address and they would be received today. The yodel worker lied and the flowers never arrived. I reported my complaint formally to yodel Monday – was supposed to have a response in 24 hours, it’s now Thursday! But totally not surprised they make a habit of lying to customers! The cheeky buggers actually tried to deliver the bloody flowers 4 days late! With a bloody ‘sorry’! They knew how important this day was from the state of my pleading phone call but instead of keeping their word they ruined what could be the last mothers day I actually celebrate, thank you yodel for making it memorable in all the wrong ways! The saddest thing is although eflorist didn’t give them the house number the post code was there along with the home phone number of the address it was being delivered to – a simple “what house number are you?” would have sufficed! I’m no Einstein but seemed like a logical bloody move!

I have never been so upset by a company to the point where I’ve been in tears (I am a grown woman of 35 for christ’s sake!) and I’m actually searching for companies yodel delivers for so i can close my accounts with any of them that are relevant to me and my simple explanation will be because i have no trust for their chosen courier whatsoever and doubt I’d receive my items! Not to mention the fact that getting through to a person in their customer service team is like breaking out of Alcatraz! Given there is bound to be issues it’s not worth it! And they ignore formal complaints which again demonstrates their attitude of ‘we don’t give a hoot about our customers’, not ideal for a courier company!

AVOID USING YODEL TO SAVE YOURSELF ANY GRIEF!

Had a text at 09.31 this morning to say my delivery was on the van. I checked the track my delivery on their app and it said the driver had 97 more delivery’s to cover.

I have checked the status all day and the driver had 6 more drops before mine. At 18.37 I received another text to say that the driver had tried to deliver the item but nobody was in so he “left a card”. I’ve been home all day and I was sitting in my front room with a clear view of the front of my property and no YODEL van has come near my house nor has any card been left.

They are just complete liars and tomorrow when I am supposed to receive the item I will question the driver who I dare say will deny he was todays driver about this issue.

eFlorist order never turned up

Ordered flowers, chocolates and teddy for me wife through a company called eflorist. Order was placed over a week ago and expecting delivery today on our anniversary. Got an email from Yodel this stating delivery (alarm bells started ringing as I know through previous experience how bad they are)

I immediately called the florist with my concerns, to which have come true, nothing delivered.

Yodel havent got a clue, the customer service is just as bad as their delivery drivers. I think you have to take a test and score under an IQ of 2 to actually get a job with them.

Common Sense Missing

Yodel delivered a box of cat food (£8 value) to the wrong address, and also left it on the doorstep of a terraced house. I walked down the street to collect and, quelle surprise, it was gone. Called their CS to sort it out and they suggested I call the police!? Imagine calling the police because Yodel abandoned 8 worth of cat food on the street and someone nicked it. Oi vey.

parcel was never delivered and argos are saying yodel driver saying he delivered to a man and have a signature, when i asked for signature they wouldnt show it and also signature not on online yodel delivery status.
Just submitted a claim through small claims court. Cant believe they can lie so much.

Orders from Loot Vault returned to US after YODEL damaged them

I have ordered three packages from Loot Vault who make up packages of film and video game merchandise.

My first two packages have been returned to the US after being “damaged” by Yodel depots. These crates are easy to spot and it’s obvious that they containing interesting items. I’m convinced that a collector in one of the depots, or even one of the delivery sttaff opens these boxes, takes out what he or she likes and then marks them as damaged.

Still, I suppose better than stealing the contents and then delivering the box with items short.
