YODEL cut me off when I called to complain

Wife waited in all day then tracked the parcel online which told her that the driver couldn’t gain access to the property at 3.39pm.

At this time my wife was in the front room looking down a perfectly normal drive to the road. Nothing !!! and no note thru the door because they were never here.

Phoned Yodel who said a different driver will deliver tomorrow. I replied that he must have superpowers if he can gain entry to a perfectly normal property and the other driver couldn’t.

After an embarrassing silence she cut me off !!!!! Avoid this lot like the plague. Nuff said. 😡😡😡

Laptop was thrown into garden in the pouring rain

Because of this joke of a company we have to have a mattress on our balcony and netting covering the back of our garden, because these useless twats don’t seem to know what a fucking doorbell is, that’s if they ever turn up at all!

We have three local delivery drives in our area, two twatty blokes who would rather try and score a night in bed with every girl they see than do their fucking jobs and a really, REALLY nice Polish lady who I feel so sorry for. All of this complaint excludes her because I have never had an issue with her and she is so nice and helpful.

The twats however, like to simply throw our packages everywhere. At one point we were having a brand new laptop delivered to us (I had been saving up for two years for it. ALSO this was BEFORE we put the “Yodel Defences” up). The day it was supposed to arrive it was pouring down with rain and the tracking said it had been delivered. I’m panicking because nobody has even touched our gate (our dog would’ve alerted us if someone had even come near it) and getting through to a human at Yodel is like trying to teach a goldfish how to rock climb!

In the end we found the remains at the end of the garden. The packaging had been torn to shreds, the charger was on the floor next to it and the laptop itself was out of all of it packaging, wide open, screen smashed from landing on the concrete. In the complete, torrential downpour.

8 months or so later (after I got a replacement from the company along with half my fucking money back and delivered via ParcelForce) I ordered a replacement battery for said laptop and the Yodel twatbags decided to just lob it at our kitchen window instead of knocking at the fucking door! I am disabled and cannot get down stairs easily, so I could do nothing but shout at the prick on the balcony as he ran back to his van screaming obscenities at me. We have CCTV and it caught EVERYTHING, so we sent it to Yodel and were told they would “talk to the driver”.

Obviously they didn’t do jack shit because he still delivers here TO THIS DAY, except now he doesn’t delivery our packages at all, he just signs for them himself and keeps them!

I ordered a paddling pool from George.com next day delivery.

Next day I received an email to say that as I wasn’t in they would try to deliver tomorrow, he never knocked on the door, I don’t think he even came near the house, as I my home office is right about the front door and I can hear vehicles stop outside as the window is wide open (currently 32 degrees). I am fuming.

I don’t thing drivers get paid enough, pay peanuts – get monkeys.

YODEL keeps ignoring my address

I and other houses share the same post code and Yodel keeps ignoring my house – name is on the fence – but this is similar to another house name. I don’t have problems with other delivery companies!

Two weeks and no parcel – now YODEL say it is ‘missing’

2 weeks I have been promised my parcel is coming tomorrow.. I have just been told it has gone missing. Surprise surprise. My boss has two that are currently missing with Yodel, for five weeeks!! Unbelievable.

Waited in all day to receive email saying ‘missed delivery’

Waited in all day for a collection and look onto the email regarding the collection and find a comment stating that the driver had left a card because no one was in this was a lie. I have not even been into the garden so as not to miss the collection. Shocking!

I’m facing a 9 hour drive to my best friends wedding after my NEXT DAY delivery still hasn’t turned up 3 DAYS LATER! IWOOT are just another company STUPID enough to use YODEL! what a shame!

Mind you, a non delivery is better than a £400 graphics card for my partners Birthday being thrown over a hedge into my neighbours fish pond, where it sat un noticed for 6 months!

YODEL driver broke my letterbox

Yodel Driver has broken my letterbox recently.The driver has told a pack of twaddle and got away with it even sent pics but they need CCTV evidence.

Have informed police and local housing trust. Awaiting reply now sent Charm number.

If no go it will cost me approx £30+ for housing trust to repair. Argos will not intervene yet they employ the couriers.Total Madness.

eBay parcel never arrived from YODEL – requested full refund

I ordered a desk from eBay to be delivered using the 48hr tracking service. It should have arrived on the 01.08.2017. According to the tracking app it left the depot on the 31.06.17 to come to the address.

Apparently I missed it on the 01.08.17 despite sitting in my flat and no calling card left. I rang to complain and they assured me it would arrive by 02.08.17. It did not. I called again and the depot advised me the driver would deliver my item after his shift as I was due to visit family on the 03.08.17. No attempt to deliver was made.

At 12:30 on the 03.08.17 the tracking app stated they had missed me again and I would have to collect the item from the depot. I purposefully waited for the item and delayed my family trip so I did not miss the delivery. I contacted yodel via yodel chat several times to ask why no delivery attempt had been made and why nobody had contacted me to let me know what the issue was.

They simply told me they could not get in touch with the driver and the depot were not replying. I then asked when would the item be available for collection as I could collect it on my way to visiting family.

He said he did not have that kind of information. So I have now messaged the ebayer to ask for a full refund and told I wont receive it until the item is delivered back to them. Not once have I received an apology for wasting 3 days sat in my flat waiting for this delivery. This can all be confirmed using the tracking number JD0002254787152913

Oh I would love to complain under your “Late Deliveries” or “Broken Packages” definitions, but unfortunately I can’t comment as I never even GOT my package.

It was a Wednesday afternoon at about 2:15 and seeing as I work nights, I was asleep. I was woken up by a frantic knocking at my door. I didn’t get myself together in time to answer it before I clearly heard someone walking away and saying “there’s nowhere to leave it!” Naturally assuming he’d taken it with him and I’d need to re-arrange delivery, I went down to take the “we tried to deliver” card from out my letterbox. It in fact said “Front door”. I opened my door to find..nothing. I then searched all around the flats where I live, as I’d already heard stories about Yodel leaving your parcel in all kinds of weird places.

Finding nothing I called the Yodel tracking line. Their entirely automated, “keep customers at arm’s length” ‘service’ rejected the number on my delivery card as not recognised, and gave absolutely no option to get any further to speak to a human being. Perfect.

o I got in touch with them over Twitter. And this is where it got REALLY great. After I posted them a photo of the card (as I have here) they told me “the driver says he cannot remember delivering to that address”. Well that’s bloody impressive isn’t it! So then, how exactly could he have left a card when he wasn’t even here? Not to mention the fact that he didn’t even bother with the basic professionalism of putting a date or a name on the card. But to then lie about it afterwards.

Then there’s the fact that his lie was basically accepted as a ‘reason’ by Yodel themselves, and they politely informed me that they cannot help any further with this issue! So how can you mend the delivery problems when the management themselves are so CLEARLY inept?!
