YODEL gave tracking number that didn’t work

Package meant to be delivered between 8am and 6pm. Waited in but had no tracking number to check where the package was, no text or email about when the package would arrive.

Had to go out due to family emergency. Came back to an orange card with a tracking number that didn’t actually work on the site.

When I managed to get in touch with Yodel, they claimed that the sender had left my name and address blank on their system and they couldn’t discuss it with me due to data protection laws!

So I contacted the sender, who then got in touch with Yodel about this, only for Yodel to give them the same tripe that the name and address were blank, never mind that it wouldn’t have been possible for the courier to find me in the first place if it were blank.

I then found out that the tracking number on the card Yodel had left me was WRONG and that the actual tracking number for my package was completely different!

The sender attempted to get some information about whether I could arrange to pick up the package from somewhere but was continually fobbed off. We eventually gave up and the sender advised me to keep putting the (correct) tracking number into the system so I could arrange for collection.

In the end, the package was re-delivered the next working day by a courier who at least had the courtesy to give me his mobile number and respond to my texts.

YODEL parcels remain undelivered on purpose so I have to pay to have them returned

I have messaged Yodel regarding my problems but no one has replied
Nothing below is intended to be defamatory. It is actually true and I have paper and screen shot evidence to prove it.

I have noticed on my Yodel tracking logs a pattern when my parcels remain undelivered and I have to pay to have them returned to me

Their tracking shows how when yodel put on their tracking an address is incomplete, even though we all know it is NOT incomplete, a few days later they will update to “Parcel Was REFUSED” when all the recipients can vouch that this is certainly not true.

Here’s 3 of the 4 it’s happened to with me since the start of August and I have further tracking that back this up from other people

So this is a couple of examples from a courier brokers website which the public don’t see on Yodel – I can’t name the company as Yodel have complained about me mentioning other companies

YODEL drivers have poor manners and bad road sense

A Delivery driver delivering a sports direct parcel to my address which my Husband was in to receive has driven up my road and nearly hit my car when asked what he was doing?

He called me a stupid idiot this is not the sort of person that should be representing your delivery company and he should be spoken to in regards to his poor manners and bad road sense.

You’ll need to do this 24 hours before you collect your parcel so we know to keep it in the depot and not send it out for delivery. If you have a green Yodel calling card, please text or call the driver on their mobile number, which will be written on the card.

Ordered from Sports Direct. Of course it never showed up

I ordered something from Sports Direct over a week ago. I work at a secure site that has security 24/7.

My current parcel has apparently been delivered twice including a calling card.

Not seen any card or parcel neither have security. Help.

A Yodel driver delivered an item 1 day late, nearly broke the glass on my front door when knocking then called me an A’hole.

Diamond ring ‘vanishes’ when it gets to YODEL in Stoke

Whilst on intensive care my Father thought he was dying, he decided to buy me a diamond ring. He and I chose a ring together (an expensive purchase for us) and purchased it from an American Jeweller through Ebay. The ring was sent and successfully made its journey to the UK until it was handed to Yodel (Stoke dispatch. Ref: JD0002218050562458).

When I didn’t receive the ring I contacted the delivery company ciptipost and was informed that the ring had been passed to YODEL. This was the last anyone saw of the ring.

I received a refund from eBay; after a period of distress at not knowing what was happening, but what upsets me is the ring was unique and not-replaceable. I received no correspondence from YODEL and had to do the ‘chasing’ myself.

I confounds me that an expensive piece of jewellery can simply disappear. An explanation would be welcome!

So annoyed I created a Google AdWords ad warning about YODEL

Feeling annoyed and frustrated by professionalism of Yodel’s services, lack of effort to locate lost parcels or any attempt to contact me from the driver side I have started an awareness campaign using Google AdWords.

Diamond ring went missing with YODEL

Yodel lost a parcel which was to be delivered to me.

The parcel contained a £1800 diamond ring. I feel their response to this loss was dismissive.

I simply received an email telling me they will no longer be trying to locate the parcel and l ought to seek a refund from the seller.

YODEL texted to say a BED had been delivered and signed for… erm… no!

So I’ve waited in the house all day with my 2 year old, wouldn’t even go in the back garden (even though it was lovely weather) encase I missed my parcel. To recieve a text message at 6:00pm saying my sons bed had been delivered and signed for.

By who I will never know as it certainly wasn’t by me and i was the only one in the house apart from my 2 year old. So no bed!!! I ring up this ridiculous company to be told that I will have to wait upto 72 hours for a call back to see where the bed has gone to.

Why should I have to wait in again! I’m not even sure they will ring me back!
