YODEL delivered my Virgin delivery to the wrong address, despite Virgin telling them in was wrong

It’s not just the delivery drivers that get it wrong. The Yodel delivery office also gets it wrong.

On 20 Jul, a Virgin Mobile smartphone was invoiced correctly to my address, but Yodel used and delivered the package the next day, to a completely different address except for the name & postcode.

Fortunately, I was able to collect the package from the wrong address. Even Virgin told Yodel of the mistake before it was dispatched…

I wonder how many packages get lost this way.

YODEL lost my Naked Wines order

When I ordered a case of wine from Naked Wines, they had left the case on my front door-step for everyone to see without bothering to ring the bell, I insisted that any future deliveries had to be signed for.

What I didn’t realise was that Yodel are so stupid that they actually delivered to someone else in my street and got her to sign for it – as happened last week.

As the driver thought it was the right house, there wasn’t a card informing me where the wine was. As Naked Wines had no idea where the wine was, they sent me out another case. In the meantime, the person who had received my wine realised it wasn’t hers (took her five hours though!). So now I had waited in one full day, had the original case back and the replacement case on its way.

Had to wait in for the second day for the replacement case, which arrived late afternoon.

Then I had to wait in for the third day running in order for them to collect the original case – but they never came. I’ve now left it up to Naked Wines to resolve and have refused to wait in any more – so when they come to collect it I may or may not be in.

Repeated failed deliveries – when will I get my YODEL parcel?

So, parcel to be delivered on Monday, failed delivery and a card, apparently, left at about 4pm – which is very strange as the delivery address is a large decorating store with attached trade center, who were open and received deliveries all day.

So, rearranged for Wednesday, no notifications etc received, only to be told today nothing delivered.

Checked the website and apparently it was another failed delivery at the large, open decorating store and attached trade center, who receive deliveries all day.

Apparently it’s now out for delivery again, to the same place, I’m not holding my breath.

I am sorry there can not be enough space here to complain about YODEL I ordered stuff from a company on 22 July 16 Paid on 25 July 16 delivery due on 28th July

Yodel say they delivered on the 28th and left a card ( no Card ) delivered again on the 30th another lie we live in a cul-de-sac with CCTV and their information is just all lies.

YODEL say I authorised my parcel to be left on a porch I do not have

Got an email this afternoon to say that Yodel have left my parcel ‘where authorised’. I authorised nothing. This supposed ‘authorised’ place was my front porch.

I don’t HAVE a porch; my front door opens straight into my living room.

My parcel was a very, very limited edition vinyl. If someone had nicked it, I’d never come across it again. Furious.

YODEL claimed they couldn’t find our flat

Waited in as our parcel was due from yodel then got message on tracker saying unable to deliver parcel as can’t get into flat timed 10-31am.

We were sitting on the front garden from 9-30 until way beyond 11-00am and we have no access communal door to enter in to worry about.

The truth is our prop is a new build and the driver couldn’t be bothered to find our prop or ring the contact number to ask.

Pathetic service yet again !!!

Just wanted to let you know that I left as CEO of Yodel a year ago now. Your use of my Linked In photo was fair play all the time I was CEO of Yodel; however, now it is a bit unhelpful for Yodel customers as I still get people contacting me on Linked In about their parcels after visiting this site, which obviously now I can do little about.

The new CEO is Mike Cooper.

I’d give it 0 star if I could! Horrible company. Absolute sham. Long story short they said they tried to deliver 3 times but that was a lie. When I asked where my missed delivery card was, apparently the driver couldnt access my building.

I then informed them the letter box is outside the building so they obviously didnt come all they could do was keep quiet. Told it was back at the depot because they had tried 3 times. Confirmed this with 3 different people….including the driver, who only picked when I rang from a private number.

The driver didnt pick my calls or return my texts. Drove all the way to the depot (30mins) only to be told it had gone back out and to go home and wait for it. The company couldnt get hold of the driver. They couldnt find my parcel. Was there for over an hr.

At which point I was angry and upset. They finally found the parcel and I decided to go collect it from the drivers house (another 30mins out of my way). Lovely Emma was the one that sorted it out for me. Everyone else at the company is absolutely incompetent!!!!!

YODEL say parcel ‘in safe place’ but they’ve taken it back with them

Well i got home go a card from yodel telling me my parcel was left in a safe place.

After searching who garden and asking next door there is no parcel. So i ring up and get that automated nightmare. Which says the parcel is with them and i can book redelivery.

Which i did and have been waiting in it arriving, left lincoln at 6.21 and not here yet.

I could walk with it faster i think. Nightmare when they tell you left in a safe place n you worry someones stolen it only to find out they didnt leave it. Dummied cant read or write can they

YODEL driver parks across TWO disabled bays

I am trying to contact Yodel regarding one of their drivers. At 13.45 at the Retail Park in Dundee I had cause to speak to a driver as he was parked across 2 disabled bays.

He informed me that he knew he done this and couldn’t care less. The Yodel van registration number is; SY13 DYM and his name (if believed) is Michael. He started to drive away and I had to shout for him to stop as I would have been knocked down.

Yodel appears to have no procedure to allow people to contact them If anyone can give me a phone number I would be grateful. Thank you
