Yodel say they delivered my parcel (sofa cover ordered from ebay). They didn’t. They have a signature (a squiggle that anyone could have done). Their customer services talk the talk but nothing more. The driver has been “interviewed” and apparently I am lying. The ebay seller is aggressive. Very bad taste and loss of confidence in couriers generally. I have no sofa cover. I ordered it weeks ago!

Yodel use couriers that state they have attempted delivery when they haven’t since i was outside my property for the time that they say the ‘left a card’ (which also has not happened). Rescheduled delivery via MyYodel, which was confirmed by email didn’t even take place.
Phone calls to Yodel produce empty guarantees because nobody ‘gets back to you with an update’. All in all i have still not received my item even though i’ve been at home on the two occasions the courier has stated i wasn’t in. I’ve wasted 3 days in total waiting at home and £15 in phone calls to Yodel which would’ve better spent getting a taxi to the non-contactable Preston Service Centre.
But even then i would assume, based on this appalling service and experience, that my item would not be found in the service centre. I’m angry and want some sort of compensation for the useless phone calls and days i’ve wasted off work waiting for this courier who’s lied about trying to deliver!
Next day delivery took three days for YODEL
October 24, 2014Lazy, Lying, Morons. The three words best describes Yodel. Out of the late six scheduled collection only one has been collected on the day booked. I got a text from them saying that the driver had tried to collect but there was no reply. Problem is that we have cctv footage showing the lazy work shy driver pull up outside sit in the van for about two minutes then drive off. At no time did the lazy bas**red even try and get out of the van. This was on a Friday morning. After having a heated discussion with the depot they finally arrived Monday afternoon. It still took them another three days before the consignment was delivered. Which was like salt in a wound as I had paid for the express next day.
YODEL didn’t respond on Twitter after asking me to DM them
October 24, 2014Ordered express delivery for £6.75 on Topman to receive my order the next day. Received an email the next day saying it was delayed 24 hours with no real reasoning as to what held it up.
Posted on Twitter about how lazy the delivery service seems, and was greeted with a reply from their Yodel twitter page asking me to DM them… I did… They didn’t respond…
Empty plastic bag delivered by YODEL

Look what was shoved through my door today. It is an opened and empty plastic bag with a paper receipt from the vendor. What it should have been is a tracked and signed for package containing leather gloves! I heard something being shoved through the letterbox and pretty quickly went to the door but by time I realised what had happened he had done a runner. Presumably having enough intelligence then that I am going to be less than happy with an empty plastic bag rather than a pair of leather gloves. I will now ensure any retailer I orderf rom does NOT use Yodel or I will take the business elsewhere. Hopefully I will finally get gloves I paid for or a refund. Hopeless.
Using YODEL was the worst mistake I have made
October 15, 2014Discovered yodel through parcel2go, biggest mistake ever. supposed to collect parcel on monday…first time let off…rescheduled wednesday…driver doesn’t appear again…p’d off to be honest. worse than ups… at least they throw the parcels over the garden, unlike yodel who dont turn up at all…

October 15, 2014Last week (having paid for next day delivery) it took approx 8 delivery attempts to get my item delivered to my home address (which is in the middle of west London). My latest item has been “lost” in the depot – their expression not mine. I’ve contacted the supplier but it’s now out of stock.
What is wrong with these people???
Whole week for next day delivery!

July 21, 2014Absolutely terrible service. Driver lied about coming to drop off a parcel, lied about the number of times he’s attempted to deliver, and then proceeded to say that I was to blame for not yet having my parcel because my house was difficult to find (even though my address is prominently displayed outside). Will refuse to order from any company that uses Yodel as a delivery service in the future. No customer deserves to be shouted at (particularly when it’s the deliveryman at fault).
