YODEL smashed laptop by lobbing over gate

I ordered a laptop that was in great condition not too old and all working and case intact.

Because I was not in when the Yodel idiot came he decided to throw the parcel over over my gate and smash the laptop, nice service Yodel idiot

YODEL claim they didn’t even get my parcel for delivery

So I ordered a present for my other half for her upcoming birthday. It was coming from the states and was a unique album. Under the care of UPS, it happily bounced around the states from depot to depot being well looked after and well tracked for about 10 days.

Then it hit UK soil. 13ten Citipost received it and claim they passed it on to Yodel. Yodel claim to have only received the paperwork.. So both now blame each other for the loss and as this was a one of a kind item, I can only hope for a refund.

Both can’t explain what happened and blame the other. Terrible!

Some customer feedback for YODEL

This is a copy of what I sent on a customer satisfaction survey:

I had an email saying delivery within two days and offering a link. Followed link said delivery with in 3 days, also said out for delivery and times show it was at 730am ish then about 1030am ish it appeared not to be.
Called yodel ( in its self not easy as your numbers not widely available and some numbers are simply engaged) anyway after 22 mins of badly recorded music I finally spoke to a human. She assured me my parcel would be with me by 9pm, this was at 630pm and we had already had someone in all day!! But if it hadn’t arrived by 850pm to call back to arrange delivery. Guess what after listening to a load of crap music it went past 9pm and no parcel or anyone to speak to.

Whilst on the phone at approx 630pm I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told I would have to ” Esculate my case” whhhhoooo, so promised a call back with in 4 hrs. Well your 4 hrs is up in about 3/4 mins, my chances of getting a call???? About as likely as Elvis riding Shergar to Victory at the Grand National.

Other delivery company’s give texts and 1hr delivery slots and you can even see where the van is live. Running two businesses and receiving on average a package or parcel everyday and sending 3/4 large items a week along with 6/10 small items, I feel your service is WORST I’ve ever had. Do you really expect me to have someone stay home for the next 42hrs, Incase you feel like popping around???

Crate of Cava from M&S thrown over fence by YODEL and broken

Last Saturday was our 10th wedding Anniversary. Dear friends of ours ordered some bottles of Cava sent via M&S by Yodel. Depot BHWD depot 74 route 25G. First thing. The parcel was thrown over our back fence and broke on the floor. So called M&S they said they would send another. Same thing thrown over the fence. So Called M&S again and they said they would send me some flowers by different courier. Guess what? The flowers which on the box said keep upright and handle with care were also lobbed over our back fence. By yes you’ve guessed it Yodel. M&S wake up. Change your courier. Yodel get the driver on route 25G to deliver footballs. Because that’s all he or she is capable of. Not happy.

YODEL keep delivering my parcels to the wrong address

I tracked my parcel (from Virgin Media) and was surprised to see it marked as delivered. I phoned Yodel to tell them I had not received it, they replied that it was left with someone call “John”, no surname, in No 1, I live in 13, so not even close. On enquiring at No 1 I discovered there was no John & no parcel. getting back to Yodel I gave my contact details and was promised I would receive a call from the Investigation dept within 24 hours.
When that call never materialised i called back to be told that my package had been delivered successfully to John at No 1 two days ago, and no record of my having called to report it missing.

Virgin Media have sent another which I am now waiting for, the only problem is, it is being sent by Yodel, must go and tell John at No 1.

YODEL said parcel was delivered, but nobody had it

I have had a lot of different issues with Yodel. The most recent being that my parcel was delivered – but it actually wasn’t. None of my neighbours had it, I didn’t have it and no one came to the door the day it was delivered.

So I rang, after working out how to speak to a person rather than the automated machine, and it turned out the signature was illegible and they hadn’t used the correct process of recording therefore I was told the chances were it had been stolen. Four days later and many phone calls to the original retailer and Yodel I threatened to go to the Police as it was obvious that this was a theft, especially as there is only one delivery driver in my area.

Low and behold, after this threat, my parcel was found and it turns out it was never delivered and the driver had ‘got it wrong’ and it would now be delivered today. We will see if it actually ever turns up, I’m not getting my hopes up. This company needs to be shut down ASAP

YODEL left my River Island order on the doorstep, despite someone being in

Order from River Island coming via Yodel (dread starts to set in when you see that Yodel are in possession of my parcel). I feared the worse but got home to find my parcel waiting for me, in the house. Thanked my housemate to accepting delivery (she is on maternity leave and was home all day).

She told me that despite being in all day, they didn’t knock or try and see if anyone was home, she only noticed it had been delivered by seeing the red bag through the glass (in full view of the road). No calling card either. Just a parcel left at the front door, ready for anyone to steal. I was lucky.

Will not order again from Trekwear so long as they use YODEL

Saturday afternoon and according to Yodel delivery service they delivered my order at 8.30am today and left it in a safe place at my property, so i have been very concerned because i don’t have my order and there was no card put though the door., so now there is no customer service available.

I will NOT recommend or buy anything from Trekwear as long as they use the Yodel delivery service.

Three parcels from YODEL have now gone missing

waiting for a parcel from yodel to find out it had been delivered on the 27th December. Really?? Ive phoned up and apparently the scanner had a fault that day. I asked them too see if the scanner worked either side of my delivery as this would show the driver was a thieving bastard and in his country would have his hands chopped off.

Thats the 3rd parcel with yodel thats gone missing or had items missing. The last parcel was signed for with a forged signature but this one didnt have one. Pissedoff.com

YODEL left package with random person nowhere near our home

Ordered over £50+ of goods, Yodel was the courier. My flat number was 16 they delivered to 31 which was 2 floors up and on the other side of the building. They claimed they were able to do this. I advised this hardly counts as a neighbour as its not even on the same floor. They weren’t concerned.

Needless to say I never saw that package as the neighbour they left it with was “never home”. The company we purchased from agreed to kindly resend, we advised to make note we did not want this left with a neighbour…

Of course Yodel disregarded & did the same again.
