We ordered from clothing company All Saints last week , they failed to even ring our door bell. They said they attempted to deliver , but we were in across the 2 days they said they tried to deliver.

Complaints:
Ordered from All Saints, YODEL bungled the delivery
January 2, 2014Tracking on the website says package delivered – it hasn’t been!
December 20, 2013Paid for next day delivery to my work address. Deliver to reception. Access 24 hours with security. checked tracking all day – not left distribution centre. Parcel not delivered. Check tracking again this morning – left Litchfield at 18.09. Delivered to Customer in Derby at 18.39.
Absolutely impossible even if the driver put his foot down and drove directly to me with no stops! Calls to call centre – automated, says doesn’t recognise tracking number – cuts the call! Website useless.
Now tweeting Yodel to be lied to no doubt.
YODEL has parcel that was ordered two months ago!
December 19, 2013
Another update… I wait in again… all day on Tuesday for a 4th attempt at delivering my parcel! It fails to turn up. I speak to three different people in a Yodel Call Centre (Customer Services) and each and every one tells me a different story…
Finally at 14:54 the website updates with that all too familiar sentence ‘At Middleton Service Centre’ by this point I have steam coming from my ears and I am losing the plot!
Yodel expect me to stay in again for a 5th time… no chance, I ask the person to see if I can go and pick it up at the depot… she tries to reach them but they are not answering the phone, she says it would be my choice to go but cannot guarantee my parcel will be there.
Someone kindly takes me (I don’t drive) and it takes 55 minutes through rush hour traffic to reach the depot. It then takes another 15 minutes for my parcel to be found. Imagine my shock and horror when the parcel turns out to be ‘an order’ that is supposedly already showing as returned to the sender at an online catalogue firm and that was sent with a different courier completely not linked to Yodel!
I refuse the parcel and tell them to return it to sender… after all it was initially order and returned in October… no wonder the catalogue company are having trouble finding it, it’s been with Yodel!
A complete mystery… my New Year’s Resolution is ‘Never to shop with anyone who uses Yodel for the deliveries!’ AND never take a job with them no matter how desperate some of there staff are to recruit you!!!!
YODEL lost parcel from Topshop and said I was no longer their problem
December 17, 2013Ordered a parcel from #Topshop for next day delivery. Stayed in all day waiting. No delivery. Tracked it on the Yodel site was advised “could not gain access to property” Not only is there just ONE door but I also left my telephone number on the delivery address.
Day two, still no parcel. Tracking side advised “could not gain access to property, card left”
No card, no delivery.
Day three, no delivery no card. Site advised “Delivered to customer via letterbox”
1. it would not fit in my letterbox for love nor money.
2. nothing was delivered.
Called Yodel, was on hold for ages to finally be cut off by an automated service advising they were “too busy, call back later”
Emailed yodel via their comments section. NO response. So I tweeted about it instead and tagged them. I was surprised to get a phone call in which i was advised the driver had been interviewed and told them he delivered it to “number 3”. Which is odd because my address is 42. I asked the lady on the phone what address they had for me and she confirmed 42 and my postcode.
She said she would look further into it.
I also contacted Topshop and advised them of the same. They told me they would look into it.
I had an e-mail from Yodel advising me that it was no longer their problem as it was a dispute with the delivery so I should contact Topshop. But that their driver had now said he left it with my neighbour to the right. This is number 41 not number 3. So either theres some lies being brewed up or he’s a complete idiot. I intend to get my money back or compensation from Topshop or Yodel one way or another if I have to march into Topshop and take the amount owed to me in goods.
YODEL didn’t even try to deliver my parcel
December 16, 2013So I wait in all day for a ‘3rd’ attempt at delivering my parcel… I don’t venture out… I wait constantly checking Yodel’s website, it does not update, in fact the website, says my parcel is at the ‘Middleton’ depot… with a message…
‘We are sorry, but it appears your parcel has been delayed.’
Does that mean it’s not coming today? On the van… or what? I have no idea!
Finally at 19:21 the Yodel website updates with information… It tells me ‘Returned to local service centre Middleton service centre 14th Dec 2013 17:17’ So was it on the van today, and the driver couldn’t find me? Clearly he’s not tried to deliver it… perhaps he was too stressed and overwhelmed with all the Christmas deliveries… and so decided not to bother and go to the pub!
I give up… I think I’ll go and start a ‘BAN YODEL’ march at there offices on the Albert Dock Liverpool! (Yes we know where the management for Yodel are…)
PS4 ordered, game stolen from depot
December 16, 2013Ordered a ps4 from Argos online paid extra for a saturday delivery stayed in all day tracking said it had been delivered. Then when I phoned up got told was back at the depot and Monday was my new delivery day didnt appear then either or Tuesday or Thursday.
Was told there was a problem with my adress as I live on one of the main routes into Liverpool a blind man could find my house. in the end had a 40 mile round trip to get it from the depot myself only to find the game that I had ordered with it had been stolen.
Probably the reason no one could find my house they would have got the blame if they tryed to deliver it. How the hell this place is still going is beyond me.
YODEL is a disgrace
December 16, 2013Had parcel thrown over side gate straight into a puddle……
had parcel put at the front of our drive foe all to see
Yodel is a disgrace, I blame the company
YODEL failed to deliver as my address was not in the driver’s satnav
December 13, 2013YODEL was supposed to deliver an order 3 weeks ago but could not and the reason given was that ‘my address was not on his satnav’ ! This is in spite of numerous deliveries I have had from many other couriers and address is also shown on Google Street !
I then made several phone calls which no one answered and even tried calling their Headoffice.
I then got the firm I ordered goods from to contact YODEL to make a 2nd delivery which needless to say did not show up ! The reason given by YODEL was ‘their driver was assaulted by someone unknown’ !
Again another 3rd appointment was made and yet again no parcel ! The reason given was ‘driver ran out of time’ !
I finally told the firm that I was cancelling the order unless they used another courier and NOT YODEL.
They agreed and made a next day appointment and Royal Mail PARCEL FORCE showed up with the goods right on time !
YODEL thinks the driver has my parcel at his own house!
December 13, 2013I ordered a present for my wifes birthday which apparantly was attempted to be delivered on Saturday night at 7.30 but there was no answer at the door. I thought this was odd as we were in the front room at the stated delivery time which is about 2 foot from the front door. No card was left.
I reorganised the delivery through Yodels phone system and waited in all day on Monday for it to arrive – nothing
I reorganised the delivery through Yodels phone system and waited in all day on Tuesday for it to arrive – nothing
I complained to the company I purchased the goods off – they telephoned Yodel and were told they ‘think’ my parcel is at the delivery drivers house and they ‘hope’ he will deliver it on Wednesday
To be sure I re-confirmed the delivery through Yodels phone system and waited in all day on Wednesday for it to arrive – nothing
I again complained to the company I had purchased the goods from – they telephoned Yodel and were told the ‘driver has now left the company’
I’m still trying to work out how any of this is my problem – The original company are now sending me a replacement item but wait for it………….
They are using Yodel to make the delivery!!!!!!!
Tracking says they delivered when they clearly did not
December 13, 2013Yodel delivered a pair of curtains recently, well they did according to there tracking information. It clearly states ‘Parcel put through mailbox’ Living in flats, I have a tiny mailbox on the wall, so unless these were curtains for a dolls house – I don’t think so!
This week I missed a parcel, arranged for re-delivered on the day I was off work… Waited in but according to online information item was still at the depot, with a ‘Sorry’ it’s not been loaded onto the van for delivery… Sign, I nipped out to get some milk, and quarter to 4 I missed them… So much for the parcel being in the depot still!
