phone text saying parcel left with neighbour, card through door. No card through door, no neighbour with parcel. Contacted them: parcel recorded as being left with ‘Nigel’. Don’t have neighbour called Nigel. They’re investigating.

12 Reasons YODEL is absolute shite!

Web Hell. Incorrect address (not their fault – it was wrong on PayPal – their system and I missed it). But… Yodel then send it to the nearest depot, and ask you to contact them. Here’s where it goes stupid.
1. As the address was missing the Company (in a small estate with 4 businesses) they would not send it for delviery.
2. Without them trying to deliver it, their system won’t let you re-arrange it.
3. You have to go on their Tracker page to even find out that they have no inention of delivering – and it asks you to contact them – but gives you no obvious way to do so.
4. You search around, and find eventually a contact phone number.
5. Their phone is automated.
6. Their phone system charges you on top of your standard call.
7. All it does it waste your time getting the details of your parcel – and then sends you back to look at the Tracker webpage in a pointless circle!
8. So you have to use web chat. They took my updated address line.
9. Nothing happened (the tracker page is still saying they need an address update after another 2-days).
10. I went back on web chat and kicked up a stink after a day. The other end promised I’d have the goods today (4-days after I should have have got them).
11. Nothing happened. At 3:30pm I logged into web chat again. They told me that there was an Address Error, that they now would update, and that my parcel would now be delivered after the weekend next Monday!
12. Try to complain – you can’t. There does not seem to be the facility to do so on their website, and typing “Complaint” into their search box just diverts you to another pointless page of waffle.

In short – their customer service is non-existent, and they could care less if you get your goods or not. Their system is obstructive and designed to make sure you cannot easily resolve any issue if for any reason they decide that they cannot send your package out from the depot for despatch.

Frankly – its the most “F*ck You” business site I have ever experienced. I can only conclude from all this, that their service is so dreadful that to prevent being inundated with irate people without their deliveries, that (instead of improving their service) -they simply do their best to make it impossible to get hold of them and get it sorted.

Parcel left in mystery porch that does not exist

Disgusting service. Had a text to say it had been delivered at 4pm and left in my porch….I do not have a porch. After Further investigation , I found out that the parcel had been delivered to a completely different address and left in their porch. I went round there in the evening ,and guess what, they have no porch either let alone received this parcel. Yodel said they would collect it and bring it round to my address but how can they collect it if it isn’t there? I have emailed Mr Peeler , managing director, to tell him of the disgraceful service I have received and apparently it is being investigated.

More chance of winning lottery numbers than a YODEL delivery

Yodel from a mountain top to get updates on tracking… which by the way has not been updated in 5 days since collection.. piss poor service and online chat always unavailable.:(
better chance of getting the winning lottery numbers fom a fortune teller than getting tracking info from the site.. Hmmmm Hermes here we come

parsel was schedule to be delivered then tracker said oarcel was delivered with a signature that reads error no parcel was delivered to my address
when yodel was contacted they said that they are waiting for gps to show where the parcel was delivered to but two weeks no response from them do not do delivery with this company please

Never going to use another company that uses YODEL

Now at the end of my tether. I came home from work yesterday, looking forward to finding my parcel either in my safe place or my neighbour’s, as per instructions on my front door, NEXT to the doorbell.
Nothing.
Looked at the tracking status, to find ‘We tried to deliver your parcel but it was refused at the door. Please contact the sender with any queries.’
There was nobody in TO refuse it! My neighbour later tells me that he saw a yodel van drive straight past the door without stopping. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Last week, a driver tried to wrestle my parcel back off of me, because I’d chased him down the street to ask who’d signed for my parcel, as he’d left it outside my door without knocking (their usual habit)! I’m now going to enquire with every company before I order anything , who they hire to do their deliveries and tell them that I won’t be ordering if they use Yodel. If everyone does this, then they may all change their couriers to a PROPER company, that actually cares about their customers.

YODEL messed up my Argos delivery

Spent £400 quid with Argos they used yodel to deliver nothing came no card nothing then I get the parcel is delivered I contact Argos to say it has not come they say yodel say it has and been signed for so if I want to do anything about it I have to get legal advice as there’s nothing Argos can do also driver interviewed Argos say that he described my 72 year old mum as in her 40s that’s funny I’m her son and I’m 49…I have sent Argos and yodel an data information request on all info they have on account let’s see what they send me

Lost parcel

Waiting for two packages, only one arrived smashed to smithereens and they insist missing parcel has been delivered. Worse still they have no real person to speak to! Will never use them again and try to put others off.

YODEL Whistle blower reported of Christmas failures

Thousands of Christmas presents may not be delivered by Yodel’s flagship Waltham Cross site.

Yodel Waltham Cross currently has a back log of 9,000 parcels. this is growing rapidly by the day.

the depot covers deliveries to most of north & east London in addition to huge swathes of Middlesex, Essex, Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire. the warehouse is one of Yodels biggest at 100,000 sq ft.

Local management have confirmed that they do not expect to clear the back log in time for the 24th of December possibly leaving tens of thousands of customers without their Christmas presents this year.

The Service Centre is becoming difficult to move in as the parcels are stacked up in hundreds of cages after Yodel is unable to recruit more drivers, despite desperate last minute efforts.

the board is distraught at the fact that it is now becoming apparent there was no peak plan at a site or regional level.

Drivers are being asked to work 7 days a week in a vain attempt to clear the backlog despite protests that they are exhausted and desperately need a break. thereby putting themselves & the public at risk and breaking domestic drivers hours legislation.

A manager was recently found behind a pile of parcels in tears this week unable to cope with the pressure.

I do not have any photographs that I wish to share for fear of being found out however I’m sure that one of the drivers would take some for a small price which would corroborate my report.

Peacocks delivery vanished because of YODEL

parcel allegedly delivered,no parcel, called courier who was in Leicester,Im in essex,yodel wont sicuss due to data protection, went to Peacocks who contacted yodel only for them to tell me to ask my neighbours even though it was delivered somewhere over 100 miles away
