Yodel apparently attempted to deliver our parcel 3 times, each time we were in. When asked about this they said only one attempt was made. But refused to send it out again as they said they didn’t have a courier which could handle to item. The item was two towels… They then made us drive 20miles to their depot to find the parcel had been sent to their main depot for “re sorted”. shambles of a company

He’s not giving time to sign of the parcel, behaving in a very aggressive and rude way, talking to our staff in a such a bad manner and this is something that cannot be accept anymore.
This morning, few minutes ago he was here again and we tried to talk to him, but he just run away, screaming that he’s not bother and he doesn’t care.
I wish somebody to take an action on this one, otherwise we will spend time of preparing a proper complaint against this man.

Well I have the best Yodel story yet!
Ordered $388 worth of Christmas gifts for my daughter from a retailer in the USA. The order managed to make its way from Texas to Heathrow in just over a week, tracked perfectly and arrived safe and well in customs.
Here’s were is takes a down turn, the Custom Broker contracted by DHL processed the package through customs and contacted me for payment, I paid immediately very pleased with the fast, efficient service.
THEN they handed the package to YODEL, and it vanished from site….tracking ended at customs! Yodel denied ever collecting it from the broker even in the face of evidence showing a date, time, signature, even the drivers name and registration number!
Even in the face of this Yodel deny taking my package and refuse to acknowledge the clear proof of their collection!
They took the package and it vanished 10 days ago, the worst part of it is I can’t even get through to anyone on their phone line because as soon as I provide the tracking number I get an automated message stating Yodel do not have my package yet and then I’m promptly cut off! Awful awful bad bad terrible company they completely deny having my package even when faced with proof! Now I’m missing $388 worth of Christmas gifts and left with a devastated teenager!
Worst of all they will not even investigate the matter! Avoid at all cost, they are liars and provide diabolical service! They do not feel at all accountable for your lost goods!
Thank you YODHELL! It’s too late to re-ship items from the USA and it will take another 2-4 weeks to get a refund of £126.43 from customs and $388 from the retailer!
Formal complaint submitted over YODEL’s actions
April 12, 2019Incompetent and deceiptful. Will be making a formal complaint.
Waited in for a parcel to be delivered all day and then checked on tracking to find a note saying the parcel could not be delivered. No note and no call on the intercom (we live in a block of flats so all the driver needs to do is follow the instructions on the intercom to call me) Arranged a re-delivery with instructions to call my mobile when the driver arrived at my flat or call me on the intercom. Sat in all day the second time and then at 15:22 note on tracking to say driver could not deliver.
Called the helpline furious at two wasted days for a parcel I still don’t have. First person gave usual fluff about the driver not being able to deliver. When I queried specifics like how come the driver did not call me I was told the drivers don’t have phones. Was told the driver left a note but our postboxes are in the building so he/she would have had to call me to get inside. No card left. It seems to me the driver simply drove up to the flat, looked at the door and then left. When I escalated to a manager given even more evasive answers and when asked agin about the drivers not having phones given evasive answers again. Will be checking the CCTV to see if this driver even visited our flats. Understand there sometimes being issues but delivering parcels is YODEL’s business so why does this seem to be so difficult for them especially when I made it so easy? Also, find being evasive and or possibly dishonest when asked about specifics only exasperates my frustration. Will now be writing a formal complaint about my wasted time and effort. Found manager evasive and reluctant to give out complaints department address and took me pointing out it is a requirement for them to provide one for him to tell me it is on their website.
Lets hope I actually get this parcel which is a gift for my husband’s birthday. Will never use YODEL again.
Update: So after speaking to the manager where we (thats right, the manager had no suggestions or ideas) suggested the parcel be delivered to a click and collect near where we live the parcel was instead sent again to our address and unsurprisingly the driver decided not to call us or use our intercom to reach us so according to tracking he/she could not deliver. I cannot believe the sheer incompetence and can only conclude that this must be some sort of wind up.
Also promised by the same manager that the driver would contact me regarding the issues I have had and would give an explanation as to why they could not deliver but have received no such call. He told me he would open an ‘investigation’ but have heard nothing. Still no parcel and struggling to find some way of getting hold of the item I have paid YODEL to deliver to my flat.

April 12, 2019I tracked my delivery all morning….then I was surprised to see it as delivered??? urm, no nothing here…. I then received a text stating it was delivered…nope….beginning to worry I went across the road to the house that has same number…im in a flat…yep there it was…a boy who doesn’t even live there signed for it….didn’t check address, or my name, just left my babys package there which now stinks of smoke….lovely, not impressed at all….
Expensive phone vanished from YODEL Southampton depot

Expensive, insured, tracked deliveries don’t just go missing as mine did. Arrives Southampton depot 23rd November and disappeared into thin air.
They did not contact me at all until I started wondering why my delivery was so late

April 12, 2019Once again This piss poor excuse of a delivery service called Yodel has managed to piss me off by claiming they tried to deliver my package 6 times (we have a nanny in the house 12 hours a day) and each time according to Yodel customer service was no where near my house, GPS tracker shows, and after confirming through 3 calls to customer service that it will be available to be picked up at the local depot, that info was not sent to the local depot.
So long story short my package is on its way back to the seller according to the Yodel local depot and Sorry just does not cut it, this has been the third package in two months that Yodel has failed to deliver, so I will endeavour to post info about this Shitty company on every part of the Web till the day I Die, No issues with DPD OR DHL mind you.

April 12, 2019Lies, lies, lies! Yodel claim to have attempted to collect an item from my home address.
Booked a day off work, sat in for the 13 hour window and they never showed up. When I complained, they emailed me some GPS co-ordinates and told me that they did – What a load of rubbish.
I wish I could opt-out of their services – I will not purchase anything if I know beforehand that YODEL will be delivering it (or not).
YODEL say I signed for parcel that was never delivered
April 12, 2019Parcel marked as delivered and signed for but no-one was home that day. No note to even say if they’d left it with a neighbour.
No-one has any idea where it is but they still had the nerve to say that I personally had signed for it!

they told me they “couldn’t find the address”. When I got in touch via sms, I was twice eventually shut down.
Yodel driver never knocked on the door – I was in twice when delivery was supposed to be made.
Also, i asked which company was using them – as I use a lot of online shopping – they said “you should know this: contact your company”.
I asked for a telephone customer service number, and the CSO ended the chat.
